The national solution for reimbursement of pay to employees who have been ill for more than two weeks was successfully developed and deployed by Resultmaker on March 29, 2006. In Denmark, this system, known as "Sygedagpenge", is one of the e-government solutions with the highest number of transactions per year, 1.6 million, exceeded only by annual income tax returns.

 

The sickness pay reimbursement solution is by far the most comprehensive Danish e-government solution, with 12 web service interfaces to outside systems, more than 270 e-mail interfaces and much more. It is therefore probably the largest implementation of Service Oriented Architecture in Northern Europe. Resultmaker is proud to be the software and solutions house behind this solution.
