Pure development activities on the prestigious Virk.dk project, which is now running stably, fell off during 2005, after Resultmaker took responsibility for running the reporting element. The Virk.dk reporting system is now running at full efficiency, with many daily users and a great many of the reporting solutions that the Danish Industrial Council and the Danish Trade and Service council called for. In 2005, Resultmaker launched a number of these solutions, such as eSyn, which is used by vehicle inspection agencies; a nationwide sick leave compensation system that is integrated with KMD; and digital registration of vessels for the Danish Maritime Authority.
Additionally, in 2005 Resultmaker invested in an ambitious citizens' portal that will be launched to all Danish municipalities in 2006. The portal was developed in cooperation with Novo Nordisk IT and Kommuneinformation and contains all the reports people may have to submit to municipal authorities, in digital form.
Denmark now completely digital
Together with the G2B reporting systems on the Virk.dk platform, this means that almost every report made to the public sector in Denmark has now been digitalized using Resultmaker technology which, together with digital signatures, renders paper-based reporting obsolete. “We are proud of this achievement,” says Resultmaker CEO Kaare Nørgaard, “because Denmark is the first country in the world to achieve this goal, and is now ready to reap the benefits.”
Resultmaker opens new markets
In 2005, Resultmaker had great success in opening new markets, as well as developing business with an ever increasing number of Danish state authorities. Among the new markets are:
- Digital Citizen services for Danish municipalities
- Dutch authorities
- Polish authorities
Danish and foreign municipalities
”In the previous year, we have been more focused on providing integration and back end solutions for Danish authorities. In so doing, we have established some of the most advanced digital solutions, including those for the Maritime Agency and the Road Safety and Transport Agency,” says Resultmaker Chief of marketing Christian Drejøe, and continues, “At the same time, we have been able to penetrate new markets with a similar need for our advanced information systems. We have had turnover on all our markets, but especially developments with Danish authorities and our deliveries to the Dutch market have influenced this year’s result. There is great potential in both of these markets, and we expect growth in all of these areas during the coming year.”
