The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has chosen to base a large-scale pilot project on two of Resultmaker’s main products: Online Consultant and XML Schema Factory.
The contract was won in cooperation with Capgemini, one of the largest suppliers of IT and communication solutions to the public sector, with more than 6000 employees. The solution is based on Resultmaker’s patented software, and the results of the pilot project will help decide which technologies will be used as the central solution for the Dutch authorities’ websites, as well as a major portal currently under development in Holland.
In cooperation with several other ministries, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs examined a wide variety of potential solutions from different countries, but finally decided on Resultmaker because the Danish company’s system was best suited to the Dutch requirements and vision.
The choice was based on the Dutch experience of how Resultmaker’s reporting system for the Danish private sector portal, Virk.dk, effectively guided users through the reporting process, as well as how simple the system was to implement. A major requirement for the project was that the solution chosen must be able to support every government portal and be able to handle reports from companies and private individuals to both state institutions and local authorities.
It is likely that Resultmaker’s technology will be used for the final platform after the completion of this pilot project.
More orders expected
Resultmaker expects a series of larger orders in the future, as the agreement with Capgemini is expected to lead to Resultmaker’s standard applications being used by other Dutch authorities and companies in portals, integration projects, data modelling as well as the administration of complex work processes.
