Resultmaker also delivered the portal’s XML structure and the data which make it possible to personalize the various forms. Resultmaker is not mentioned in the list of partners, simply due to the extreme time pressure at VIRK prior to the launch: Resultmaker became a partner after the creation of the initial consortium. Our logo is displayed in several places in connection with the visible part of our delivery.

 

Virk.dk was launched by Danish Minister of Economic and Business Affairs Bendt Bendtsen, Minister of Taxation Svend Erik Hovmand, and Minister of Employment Claus Hjort Frederiksen.

 

The opening of the portal signals a milestone for the Danish public sector and matches the strategy of creating a single public unit, ”for the 96% of Danish businesses which use the net and of whom 84% want the administrative tasks solved first time around and at one single point of contact”  (Bendt Bendtsen, Minister of Economic and Business Affairs).

 

Online Consultant – or VIRKviseren – is what makes this possible. It guides the user through the “jungle of forms”, so businesses experience a unified and consistent service at one point of contact that is tailored to the business’s specific needs.
