Resultmaker is part of the forefront in research in future healthcare IT systems. Together with the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU), The Computer Science Institute of Copenhagen University (DIKU) and University of Bologna the big TrustCare project has been formed.
Resultmaker’s unique competence in building digital processes in combination with leading academic specialists in the area of processes and “code proofing” will lead to finding ways to develop trusted high quality treatment guidelines that will enable a dramatic reduction in treatment errors and increased quality of treatment of patients in the health system.
TrustCare seeks ways to develop clinical guidelines that can be trusted based on proofs that they lead to certain results and proofs that they do not lead to certain unwished side effects. For many years it has been possible to make proofs on computer programs that they have certain effects and that they don’t have certain unwanted effects. Such as when you know that a certain piece of code that you download from the Internet doesn’t harm your computer.
There is a huge interest in making sure that similarly doctors will know that under certain assumptions he/she can follow a certain treatment with a certain effect. Resultmaker sees a huge market potential in developing software that actively guides doctors and nurses through the treatment project while interacting with systems and the health record of the patient.
Resultmaker participates in TrustCare with technical prototypes, and Resultmaker funds a PhD on the TrustCare project.
This project is a part of Resultmaker’s significant investments in research in the area of IT support for processes in general, and in the clinical area in particular.
